These two boxes needed some real work. Not only were they tagged and filthy, but these were not painted recently like many of the others, which means they had been exposed to the elements for several years longer. The larger, stout utility box needed to be touched up on every side and the top needed to be repainted. Spray paint had been used to cover tags/graffiti (notice the large mismatched color swaths on the brims of the hats), but unfortunately the colors didn’t match. So I repainted those parts to match the original color Brise Birdsong used when she painted these.
